How to Eat in Moderation

Food is an essential part of life for people of all ages. That is why we should pay attention to the nutrients we consume each day. If the body does not receive enough nutrients, it may lead to fatigue or other health problems.

Today, we would like to share the recommended daily calorie intake for different age groups to help you understand how much energy is appropriate for each day.

Ages 4–8: 1,400–1,600 kilocalories per day
Ages 9–13: 1,600–2,000 kilocalories per day
Ages 14–18: 2,000 kilocalories per day
Ages 19–30: 2,000–2,200 kilocalories per day
Ages 31–50: 2,000 kilocalories per day
Ages 51 and above: 1,800 kilocalories per day
